            Solo Practitioner since May of 1992.  Extensive work on non-personal injury consumer matters, especially involving automobiles, real estate and consumer financing.  District Court jury trials in Harris, Galveston and Chambers County, Texas, jury and non-jury trials in Harris County Civil Courts at Law, Justice Court, and hearings before arbitration panels. 

 

            Reported opinion in Galveston County Fair and Rodeo, Inc. v. Kauffman, 910 SW2d 100 (Tex. App.-- El Paso 1995, writ denied).  Approved as Class Counsel in Cause No. 3:98-CV-2466-G Exzavior Rick McCulley, Individually and as a Representative of All Persons Similarly Situated vs. Great Southern Life Insurance Company; and First Madison Bank, a South Dakota State Bank; In the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Texas, Dallas Division;  Approved as Class Counsel in Cause No. 1999-23886; Calvin Ray Onezine vs. Universal DTEC, Inc.; In the 11th District Court of Harris County, Texas. Mr. Aschermann is a regular speaker at the People's Law School, sponsored by Richard Alderman's University of Houston Consumer Law Project.   Mr. Aschermann has also been a television guest on the KUHF television show  Know Your Rights and has been interviewed by the Fox, CBS, ABC and NBC affiliates in Houston Texas on various consumer topics.  Mr. Aschermann has also been a visiting lecturer at the University of Houston School of law on Debt Collection and the Consumer Credit Counseling Service session on Consumer Law.
